Clemence is named after the daughter of the craftsman who introduced this craftsmanship to Hermès leather goods. This leather, specially developed for luggage and suitcases, features the grain characteristics of the barrel tanning process. The barrel tanning process softens the leather and allows the natural grain to be fully revealed on its surface.
